Charter Oak Cultural Center presents The Summer Courtyard Concert
Series featuring COLLEEN SEXTON.
With her brand new studio CD, Greatest Find, Colleen Sexton makes
her mark as a national presence. Greatest Find features guest
appearances by Martin Sexton, Cliff Eberhardt, and Janis Ian, and
brings a new edge to the singer-songwriter tradition. The 12 all-new
tunes showcase Colleen's talent as a soulful singer, gifted
arranger, and intelligent writer.

Judy and Mark receive standing ovations in concerts throughout New
England for their exciting and energetic performances. Their music
is passionate, lyrical, and delightfully beyond category. These
talented artists create a unique sound by skillfully blending many
musical influences including Brazilian, Latin, swing, gypsy,
European, and classical.

Adam Miller Dance Project, Movement Capture
Experience ballet like you’ve never seen it before. Witty, sexy,
and athletic dancing is set to the music of Bach, Morricone, Rou
Rogers, and Johnny Cash to Name a few. Join us for an evening
full of surprises, including a world premiere by Director Adam
Miller, a new work that examines the mythologies of the American
West, drawing inspiration from modern American iconic films
including HUD, BUS STOP, GIANT and THE MISFITS. Tickets: $20 General , $10 COCC/Let*sGO!/Seniors,

LA GRINGA, a moving play by Carmen Rivera, performed entirely

Ramos and his crew will have you dancing in the courtyard. This
is a free event, with refreshments served, made possible by the

Charter Oak Cultural Center presents our new Singer and
Songwriters series featuring KATE CALLAHAN!
Audiences crave the adventure that Kate Callahan brings to live
performance. Within an hour she explores the ancient world with
her quartz crystal singing bowl, finger picks her way in and out
of a
high energy song about flying and shares a quirky waltz written
for a set of dancing silverware. Kate balances humor and
intensity with remarkable ease.
Her second album, “The Greatest of Ease” (Rarity Records, 2003)
marks her achievement as a guitarist and songwriter. With
immediate accolades from folk legend Noel Paul Stookey (Peter,
Paul & Mary) and acceptance into The Falcon Ridge Folk
Festival’s emerging artists showcase and The International
Festival of Arts and Ideas, “Ease” is setting the scene for
