SPECTRUM IN MOTION DANCE THEATER ENSEMBLE

Featuring  favorites from Spectrum’s repertory as well as new works set to the music of great funk artists.

Student Artwork Display & Performance Showcase

One of the most moving evenings of the year.  Virtually every inch of our building will be bursting with the paintings, drawings, poems, collages and sculptures created by our Youth Arts Institute participants.  Our sanctuary will be filled with performances by our students including music, drama, and dance.  If you love Charter Oak, this is where you want to be.  Juice, hors d’oeuvres and cookies served.  Free.

Part of the series Poverty, Peace, Planet Earth and the Prophetic Voice

This event will take place at Charter Oak Cultural Center, 21 Charter Oak Avenue, Hartford.

The series will examine the community’s responsibility toward poverty, peace, and planet Earth from an interfaith and public policy perspective. The discussions will touch on the religions’ place in American society and how they should use that place to reflect the prophetic, theological voice on these three issues with additional comment from community leaders.
